Dress Code

Dearest friends and family, step into our winter lavender garden fairytale - Formal attire will keep the evening polished and cozy.

For the Ladies
Soft pastels are encouraged—gentle hues worthy of a princess
promenade. Think Disney magic meets Bridgerton—to match the dreamy lavender backdrop.

For the Men
Suits or tuxedos, please. Timeless, and ready for a waltz—leave the
jeans and sneakers for another day.

Colors to Kindly Avoid

Neons (too modern for the ton), anything overly loud, and shades reserved for the bride (ivory, or white).

Our Story

Our Story

Janzen and Stephanie’s story began as a simple friendship—one that quietly blossomed into something far greater. Over 13 years, their bond deepened from friends, to best friends, to soulmates, and now—forever.

Through life’s ups and downs, their friendship remained unshakable, carrying them through every season.

When love finally revealed itself, fate added a challenge: Stephanie moved to Las Vegas to pursue her career.

Yet instead of letting distance divide them, they chose patience and trust, knowing that true love would find its time.

And it did. When Stephanie returned to the Bay, their hearts found home in each other. In April 2020, at the very start of an uncertain world, their story of “forever” officially began.

God's unending love is the center of their relationship. They matured, grew, accepted, and fell deeper in love - learning that, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. " – 1 Corinthians 13:4

Plan Your Trip

By Car

We highly recommend driving to the wedding. This part of California is more rural, which makes ride shares, taxis, and Ubers tricky to come by.

If you’re flying in, car rentals are available at SFO, or at MCE airport if you’re arriving locally.

By Flight

Recommended International Airport: San Francisco International Airport (SFO)

Recommended Local Airport:
Merced Regional Airport (MCE)

Registry

We’re incredibly lucky to already have most of the household things we need (and way too many coffee mugs). Instead of a traditional registry, we’ve set up a cash registry to help us start this new chapter together —whether that’s our honeymoon, making a home, or growing our family. We are so grateful for your love and support!

FAQ

01. Can I bring a +1?

We’re touched you’d like to share the day with someone special. Because of space limits, +1s are only included if they’re listed on your invitation. We can’t accommodate extras this time. If you’re unsure or have a question, please reach out—we’d love to clarify!

03. Will there be food and drinks at
the reception?

Of course! We’ve planned a buffet dinner, plus a bar to keep the celebration lively. If you have dietary restrictions, please let us know—we’d love to make sure you feel right at home at the table.

02. Will the wedding and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Our plan is to exchange vows outdoors (weather permitting) and then head inside for a cozy reception dinner and celebration.

04. Is parking available at the venue?

Absolutely—there’s plenty of parking at the venue. Since ride-shares and taxis aren’t reliable in our rural location, we suggest driving. Be sure to arrive a little early so you can find parking, check in, and get settled in time to join us promptly for the ceremony.

05. Can I bring my kids?

Our wedding will be an adults-only celebration (18+). We’ve chosen to keep this evening intimate—a true celebration of love. We understand childcare can be difficult to arrange, but we hope that with this advance notice, it will give you enough time to plan. Thank you so much for understanding—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

06. Am I allowed to take photos at
our wedding?

We will be having an unplugged ceremony. While we know you’d love to capture the moment, we kindly ask that you keep phones tucked away and on silent, leaving the photos and video to our professional team. This way, everyone can be fully present with us during the vows. Once the ceremony ends, feel free to snap away!*
